It appears Cameron wasn't bred on 9/23 as I thought. On 10/16, Sirus was trying to get in the doe area so I let him in. Our doe, Cameron, was bred to Sirus on 10/16, and is expecting kids on 3/15/05. I will still be watching for kids the week of 2/20/05, because Nora is expecting kids on 2/21/05.

Christi and I picked up the little buck on Saturday, 11/19. You can see his photo under Buck Photos.
We put him with the Nubian does and they were all nice to him except for Cameron. I sat and watched him with the does on Sunday right after they were fed. Cameron hit him and sent him rolling so she was moved in with the meat goats.
The buckling will be moved in with the meat goats in a few weeks. We want him to feel comfortable before he gets moved in with the "bullys". read more »

Since all the kids were dam raised this year we were unable to taste the milk until recently. Darlene freshened for the first time this year and her milk is delicious. Cameron has always had great tasting milk but Darlene's is better.
We no longer have any goats for sale now that Bob and Sirus were sold. The couple that purchased Bob also wanted Sirus so Christi decided to sell him to them as well.
