Christi began raising Mini Rex rabbits in 2001, as part of her 4-H Project. We began attending rabbit shows to exhibit the animals that she purchased. We discovered she had a very good eye for the rabbit standards, and she began her breeding program.
The first Holland Lop rabbit Christi would own, was a doe, that was purchased on 4/06/02. She continued to exhibit Mini Rex and her one and only Holland Lop, until she was given a Holland Lop buck on 2/08/03. Once she had a buck to go with her doe, she began breeding Holland Lops and is continuing to do so.
We have been attempting to purchase Rex rabbits since the beginning of last year. A local breeder was kind enough to give us a trio of quality rabbits on 3/24/07. We are looking forward to our future in breeding and exhibiting these lovely rabbits.
