Welcome to Curryosity Farm, located in Jackson, California.
Curryosity Farm has been raising Nubian Dairy goats since 2000, Kiko goat wethers were added in 2001, and Boer goats in 2005.
Nubian Dairy Goats
We began raising registered Nubian Dairy goats on 5/13/00, with the purchase of three goats, one doe and two wethers. Over the years the numbers have increased as well as decreased, in order to maintain a small herd.
Due to Christi's busy work and school schedule, we are in the process of selling all of our Nubian Dairy goats. All of our Nubian's are purebred, registered, or registerable. Our remaining Nubian goats include one buck and two does. Both of these does were bred to a Boer buck in order to have them freshen this year.
Kiko Goats
We purchased Kiko wethers in 2001, for the primary reason of land clearing. We put them on 12 acres of manzanita, oak trees, pine trees, poison oak, and berry bushes. The ground is clean and all of the trees are groomed as high as they can reach.
Boer Goats
Our Boer goat herd began on 5/07/05, with the purchase of four goats, all does. A few months later we purchased a buck and added three more does to our herd. We began our breeding program with one buck and seven does.
Due to Christi's busy work and school schedule, we are in the process of selling all of our Boer goats. They have all been sold with the exception of one Boer buck.
