My husband, Mike, started a website dedicated to motorcycles which can be seen at http://www.roadcarvin.com. In order to promote that site he decided to attend Street Vibrations in Reno, Nevada, on 9/21 through 9/24.

Mike and his friend, Dwight, rode their motorcycles and I drove the motorhome to Reno on 9/21. I parked the motorhome at a nice trailer park that was located a few blocks from downtown.

We walked downtown to admire all the nice bikes that were there. Mike's brother and his wife go every year so we hooked up with them and their friends. We had a real good time and look forward to going again next year.

Mike and I rented a mini van in order to pick Trina and her mounts up from Montana. We left on 9/27 and drove to Winnemucca, Nevada, and stopped for the night. On 9/28, we drove to Idaho Falls, Idaho, and stopped for the night. On 9/29 we drove to Havre, Montana, unloaded our stuff in the room and went to pick up Trina and all her stuff at the Academy of Realistic Taxidermy. On 9/30, we headed back home and stopped in Idaho Falls, Idaho, for the night. On 10/1, we gained the hour we lost due to time zone changes, and drove all the way from Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Jackson, California, and made it home around 11 p.m. We were all anxious to sleep in our own beds and decided to drive the extra three hours so we could do so. It was a beautiful trip with plenty to see.

While Trina was in Montana she fell in love with Taxidermy. She is in the process of making Timeless Creatures Taxidermy her full time job and is looking forward to owning her own business. Once she has acquired her Fur Dealers License she will be ready to begin purchasing her specimens and begin on her first project for Timeless Creatures Taxidermy. Trina told me that working is still a must, but is now included as part of her interests.

Christi is in her Senior year of high school. Her classes include Civics/Economics, English Grammar, Language Arts, Vocabulary, Basic Essentials of Math, Zoology, Physics, Animal Husbandry, German, Japanese, PE, Art, and Music. She has been working for some of our neighbors caring for their animals when they are away.

Jim is in his Senior year of high school. His classes include Civics/Economics, English Grammar, Language Arts, Vocabulary, Basic Essentials of Math, PE, Art, Music, and Drama.

Christi & Jim will be attending a Halloween Social at their school on 10/30. I don't know what their costumes are going to be, but I am sure they will figure something out.

Trina asked me to update her interests to include drawing, dogs, reading, predatory fish (the bigger the better), photography, Taxidermy, collecting DVD's, and any potato dish. She said her interests should not imply working in any way, shape or form. She does admit, however, that working is simply a must.

Trina left on an airplane this morning to attend an eight week course at the Academy of Realistic Taxidermy in Havre, Montana. Timeless Creatures Taxidermy is the name of her business and she has already started her website. You can visit her website at http://www.timelesscreatures.com.

Mike and I will be celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary on August 21st. We do not have any major plans for this year but I am hoping to book a cruise to Hawaii or Alaska for our 25th anniversary next year.

On Wednesday, August 23rd, Christi & Jim will be returning to school as Seniors to attend their final year at Mt. Oaks School. I look forward to completing my 12th year and retiring my position as a home school parent.

Christi has been too busy with school and the care of her animals to maintain this website so it is now my privilege to take over completely.

My name is Teri and I am Christi's mom. I have been married to my husband, Mike, since August of 1982. We have three children, Trina age 21, Christi age 17, and Jim age 16. My interests include my family, homeschooling my children, and 4-H.

I have been fortunate to be a stay-at-home Mom. In December, 1998, my husband moved our family from a tract house in Hayward to sixteen acres in Jackson. We all love it here and have been busy filling the property with animals.

I have been homeschooling the kids since 1995. Trina was in the 5th grade, Christi was in the 1st grade, and Jim was supposed to be in Kindergarten. Since I had three kids to school, Jim skipped Kindergarten and began the 1st grade with Christi. He has been doing great and they are now in the 11th grade. We belong to a Charter School called Mountain Oaks School, located in Calaveras County with satellite sites in Amador and Tuolumne.

I am the Sierra Eagles 4-H Community Club co-leader. I have been the Poultry Project Leader for 5 years, Sheep Project Leader for 4 years, & Rabbit Project Leader for 3 years. This is my first year as the Project Leader for Meat Goats.

Mike has been a Computer Programmer for over 25 years. His interests include computers, cars, motorcycles, and taking care of his family. He maintains the family website at www.curryosity.com.

Trina graduated from Mountain Oaks School in 2003. Her interests include drawing and working. Some of her drawings are on display under Trina's Art.

Christi is a Junior at Mountain Oaks School. Her interests include 4-H, animals, reading, corny horror movies, and video games. She is the 4-H Teen Leader of Meat Goats, Poultry, Rabbits, & Sheep. Her other 4-H projects include Dairy Goats and Horses.

Jim is a Junior at Mountain Oaks School. His interests include socializing, cars, movies, and playing. He plays guitar, field hockey, and video games.
