I am very interested in horses, especially Quarter Horses. I am going to be taking horse riding lessons from my neighbor, Tony. He is a retired horse trainer.
I went to the Amador County Fair with Dairy Goats and Chickens. I took two goats, Cameron and Nora, and my brother, Jim, took Danny. The chickens I took were Emerald (Black), Sue (Black), Skecher (Crele), Mattie (Crele), Mitzi (Blue Red), and Rollo (Blue Red).

My drama class performed a play on 5/9, called "Every Seventeen Minutes the Crowd Goes Crazy". It was my first performance and I am looking forward to Drama next year.
My school Teen Club went to Global Village where I stayed overnight. We were divided into four groups. My group was the Barrio which had 6 people in it. My group started out with 1/4 cup rice and water. We had to trade our labor for food from the other groups. We ended up with the biggest and best dinner, thanks to our labor. It was fun.
I went to my first dance. It was held after the "Drumfest" which was put on by my school. I learned to dance. I attended my second dance after the Graduation party. I am looking forward to more dances.
I went on my first airplane ride with my friend and her parents. Her father is a pilot. We flew to Shelter Cove on a Saturday and flew home the following Monday. I had a great time.
I graduated from the 7th grade on 6/10, and will be going into the eighth grade on 8/28. I plan on signing up for Teen Club, Drama, and Pottery. There will be more classes to sign up for, but I don't know everything that is being offered yet.
On 6/27, I took Tatum to our first Agility Dog Training lesson and she is a fast learner. We have five more weeks to go. It was fun.
I am getting my animals ready for our County Fair on 7/23 thru 7/28. I have entered Dairy Goats and Poultry.

My name is Christi and I am 13 years old. I am a homeschooler. I love animals. When I am old enough I would like to get a job in a pet store. I plan on going to college to become a Veterinarian.
My family and I moved to our farm three years ago. I have been involved in 4-H the whole time. I live with my Dad, Mom, older sister, and younger brother.
The projects I have taken and shown at our county fair are poultry, rabbits, sheep, and goats.
My interests include:
- Poultry - This is my third year in the Poultry Project.
- Rabbits - This is my first year in the Rabbit Project.
- Dogs - I have two dogs, a Lab/mix named Cinder, and a purebred Border Collie named Tatum. I want to work with Tatum to become an agility dog.
- Goats - I have been in the goat project for three years. We have three Nubian Goats, a doe and two wethers. We are expecting our first kids (baby goats) in mid May.
- Sheep - This is my second year in the sheep project. Last year, 2001, I took two sheep to our county fair. I sold the whether at the auction and kept the ewe. I bought a ram that I am going to breed to my ewe for the 2003 county fair.
- Drawing - I have enjoyed drawing since I was 5. I entered a picture in our county fair (my 1st year in 4-H) and won a 1st place ribbon.
- Drama - I started drama in the beginning of the school year. I really enjoy it.
- Pottery - I started pottery in the beginning of the school year and gave my family Christmas gifts that I made.
- Aikido - I started Aikido in the beginning of the school year. I am learning how to roll and block advances.
