We don't have a mission, but if we did have one, you'd see it here.

Welcome to our Website!

The Curry family, also known as Curryosity Farm, have been living in Jackson, California since 1998. We have a lovely home that is located on 16 acres.

Immediately after moving here, our three children joined a local 4-H Club. The first farm animals that we acquired were chickens. My father has been raising chickens since I was a child, so naturally, he provided our children with chickens of their own.

All three of our children joined the 4-H Dairy Goat Project in 1999. We purchased our first Nubian Dairy goats in 2000 and sold the last one in April, 2008. The only goats we have now are the six Kiko wether goats that are used for brush clean up. They are kept on about 12 acres and have kept the ground free of leaves, trees groomed, and are making progress with the manzanita.

Christi joined the 4-H Sheep Project in 2000. She purchased a Suffolk whether for the project, and I purchased a Suffolk ewe for breeding. Trina and Jim also joined the sheep project for a brief time. We are still in the process of raising 4-H lambs, and have relocated all of our sheep to an irrigated pasture in Brentwood.

Christi joined the 4-H Rabbit Project in 2002. She purchased a pair of Mini Rex rabbits and began her breeding program. Trina and Jim also joined the rabbit project for a brief time. The Holland Lop rabbit project began in 2002 and has grown over the years. My daughter has chosen to continue work on two projects which include the Smoke Pearl and Tortoise Shell varieties. Rex rabbits were added to her rabbitry on March 24, 2007, so now we have dwarf and standard rabbits.

Christi became interested in horses in 2002 and took riding lessons. She purchased her first horse, an Appendix Quarter horse, Chloe, in March, 2003. Christi wanted to raise a foal, and purchased a Quarter Horse mare, Willow, and her 2-1/2 month old colt, Roland, in August, 2004. Circumstances led Christi to breed Willow, and Willow produced a colt, Vergil, in April, 2006. Christi sold Roland in May, 2007 and Willow in April, 2008. Christi now has two horses, her mare Chloe and her gelding Vergil.
